BEHIND THE LENS

I am a natural light photographer based in Ayrshire, Scotland. My approach to photography is to be as natural and un-obtrusive as possible, capturing the unique moments and interactions between family, and bringing out the personalities of children through my images. It is my role as photographer to simply capture the beautiful moments in life, and use them to create meaningful, unique and truly personal pieces of artwork for your home.

 

My passion for photography began while studying Architecture and design at university. I found myself taking photographs of beautiful existing buildings more often than designing new ones! When I became a mum to my son Luca, my desire to follow my passion was amplified. It became clear to me how vital it was to treasure those special moments in life; from pregnancy and the first few days of a child’s life, to the important milestones and special occasions that often pass by just a little too quickly. I knew at that point this was what I wanted to photograph. I now feel privileged to be a part of other family's special moments.
